So I've neglected DevArt for awhile now, figured I'd stop by and start submitting again. Yes I've been viewing but I couldn't be bothered to post any of my new work because I've found it quite dull. More of the same I suppose?

I'm submitting this because it was probably one of the most painful photos to actually shoot. Had to stay in the exact spot keeping watch on a tripod hanging off a building for 3 hours. Mostly to get all the exposures needed and such. Tossed them together in photoshop and 'ta-da'. Alright be back later~

It's great. I love it. Hopefully that's worth the pain you had to go through. Hope to see more :)

I never knew until that moment what it was like to lose something I never really had.

I gotta say, three hours was f-ing worth it, this is one of the nicest city shots I've seen yet.

Nice shot. =) What building was it taken from?

Interstate 5: opened from Everett, WA to Tacoma, WA on January 31, 1967. The center of Seattle is at the James St exit.
I would be interested to see a type of "progress" on this. What are the different exposures, how were they put together, that sort of stuff...

sharp as hell, just like always. i really dont know how you do that.

i like this picture. it's busy, but in a good way.. a way that pretty much conveys the idea of a city. sporadic lighting in the windows, streaks from more than a single car's headlights, and the blue sky's trying to pry its way into the shot worried that its been forgotten.

i really like this photo. :+fav: you've always been one of my favourite photographers on this site, and, well, here's a great example as to why :)
